BCI Foods appoints Catherine Sumague as chief revenue officer

Catherine Sumague has joined BCI Foods as its chief revenue officer. 

With nearly 400 employees, Saint-Hyacinthe, Que.-based BCI Foods is Canada's largest private-label canned soup maker, and home to brands such as Aylmer, Primo and Baxters.

In her new role, Sumague says she will have a clear mandate to accelerate growth and broaden the company's market presence. She will also be tasked with leading initiatives to enhance customer relationships and deliver on BCI's commitment to innovation and excellence.

Prior to joining BCI Foods, Sumague served as chief revenue officer at Natursource, a food company she joined in 2018. 

She remains an executive board member at Agri-Food Export Group Quebec-Canada, an association of agri-food exporters.
