Canadian cheese winners at American cheese competition

Two Canadian cheeses placed second (tie) and third overall in the 'Best of Show’ at this year’s American Cheese Society Conference and Competition.

Finica Food Specialties Limited in Ontario tied for second with its Lindsay Bandaged Goat Cheddar; while Louis D'or by Fromagerie Du Presbytere in Quebec, placed third.


Many other Canadian cheeses made their mark at the competition, which took place in Montreal, Aug. 3–6.

It was the first time that the event was held outside the U.S.
