CFIG hires former Loblaw executive as director
The Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers (CFIG) has hired Claudia Solorzano as director membership & programs.
Solorzano, who most recently served as senior manager, strategy and projects, market division at Loblaw, started her new role with the Toronto-based organization in October.
According to a statement from CFIG, Solorzano’s experience will help “reshape its membership landscape to enable sustained growth to continue to support its members.”
The statement went on to say that Solorzano has a proven “ability in operations, training, strategy, project management and successfully integrating new business processes into core operations ensuring their continuous improvement and long-term sustainability.”
