Mastro San Daniele recalled charcuterie trio

Mastro San Daniele, owned by Sofina Foods Inc., has recalled a line of packed deli meats that contain milk not declared on the label.

The company’s Charcuterie Trio pack of prosciutto cotto, capocollo and mortadella has been sold in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, and may have been distributed in other provinces and territories.

A safety investigation is underway by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, which is also verifying that the recalled product is being removed from shelves.

There have been no reported illnesses as a result of consuming the meat pack.
