Claire Bara named CEO of Yoplait Liberté Canada

The exec previously served as president of A. Lassonde

There's a new boss at Yoplait Liberté Canada. The dairy company, with brands including Yop, Source and Minigo, has appointed Claire Bara its new CEO.

Previously, Bara spent more than six years at A. Lassonde where she most recently served as president. Bara also has experience in leadership roles at Lowe's Companies, Molson Coors Canada and Sobeys.

In her new role, Bara has a mandate to "build a profitable and sustainable growth strategy for Yoplait and Liberté brands across Canada," according to a press release. She will oversee the company's teams in Montreal, Saint-Hyacinth, Que., Missisauga, Ont. and Vancouver.

"I am deeply honoured and excited to lead Yoplait Liberté Canada at such a pivotal time for our industry," said Bara. "As Canadian consumers increasingly seek local, wholesome products made with care, I am proud to join a company that has, for decades, been dedicated to offering high-quality dairy products made with 100% Canadian milk from local farms."

Yoplait Liberté Canada has been a member of the Sodiaal Group, a leading French dairy co-operative since January 2025.
