Costco looks to open new store in planned Alberta shopping centre
The proposed Bingham Crossing location would span 270,000 square feet
A new Costco has been proposed at Bingham Crossing, a shopping and lifestyle centre currently under construction a few kilometres west of Calgary.
The mammoth 270,000-sq.-ft. location would be part of the first phase of the project, which will also include the development of a senior’s housing complex and municipal green spaces.
To be known as Costco Bingham Crossing, the application for a development permit with Rocky View County was submitted in February. Renderings show a liquor store and gas bar at the proposed club.
Site preparation work which includes grading and deep utilities commenced in 2022 according to the Rencor Developments Bingham Crossing website.
