Costco to open new store in planned Calgary shopping centre
Bingham Crossing location gets the green light from Rocky View County
A new Costco is set to open at Bingham Crossing, a shopping and lifestyle centre currently under construction a few kilometres west of Calgary.
Rencor Developments said construction on the store is set to resume in spring 2024 following the completion of infrastructure work last year. The new Costco is expected to open its doors in the fall 2025.
The mammoth 270,000-sq.-ft. location is part of the first phase of the Bingham Crossing project, which will also include the development of a senior’s housing complex and municipal green spaces.
The application for a development permit with Rocky View County was submitted in February 2022. Renderings show a liquor store and gas bar at the club.
