Costco to open first warehouse in Brantford

Club to feature sushi department, selection of alcoholic beverages

Costco Wholesale Canada will open its first warehouse in Brantford, Ont. this week. 

The club opens Friday (Nov. 8) at 175 Roy Boulevard, located off the Wayne Gretzky Parkway next to Lynden Park Mall.

It will feature the first Costco sushi department in Ontario, as well as 24 gas pumps, 813 parking spots, and a range of beer, wine, champagne and ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages.

Costco said the Brantford warehouse has created 180 permanent and 80 seasonal jobs.

Justin Peckitt serves as warehouse manager.
