Costco to open new store in Oakville, Ont. next year

Costco is slated to open a new location in Oakville, Ont. next year.

Currently under construction, the site, located at 3471 Wyecroft Road, is proposed to have approximately 168,590 square feet of retail space.  

It will have a total of 1,000 parking spaces, including both surface and underground parking and sixteen bicycle racks.

The site will also feature a gas bar at the northwest corner of the site near the South Service Road West and RioCan Boulevard intersection, notes a site plan application from the City of Oakville.

A social media post by Oakville Mayor Rob Burton confirmed the approval of the site for the new location.

“With demolition underway and permits in review, construction is expected to begin this spring, pointing to a likely fall 2027 opening,” Burton said in the post.
