Costco’s May sales up 9.2% in Canada

Costco Wholesale Corp.’s net sales for the retail month of May came to $24.01 billion, up from $20.97 billion last year.

Comparable sales for the period, which ended May 31, rose 9.2% in Canada. U.S. sales increased by 13.7% While Other International Sales were up 9.7%.

Digitally Enabled sales increased by 21.1%.

Net sales for the first 39 weeks of the year were $221.19 billion, an increase from $201.02 billion last year.

Costco currently operates 115 warehouses in Canada.
