Danone president joins Grocery Foundation board

Danone Canada president Dan Magliocco has been appointed to The Grocery Foundation’s board of directors.

The food industry veteran brings more than 30 years of experience to the organization.

Prior to joining Danone, Magliocco served as president of Mondelez Canada and held senior leadership roles at Kraft Foods Canada and Nabisco Canada.

For over 40 years, the foundation has brought together retailers, manufacturers and other companies that enable Canada’s consumer products and grocery industry.  

With their support, and the support of the public, the foundation has raised more than $100 million since its inception. 

Known for its annual Night to Nurture Gala, Toonies for Tummies campaign and School Breakfast program, The Grocery Foundation works with student nutrition programs across Western Canada, Ontario and Atlantic Canada.
