Dongé brand Coulommiers raw milk cheese recalled
Company says product, which was sold in halves and quarters, may contain listeria
Les Dépendances is voluntarily recalling its Dongé brand Coulommiers raw milk cheese in Quebec due to the potential presence of listeria.
The company says the product may have been sold cut in half or in quarters. The recall covers 500-gram containers with a best before date of July 12 and UPC 8 31014 41211 0.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
