Eataly joins Thought Leadership 2019 panel discussion

Canadian Grocer is excited to announce that Ennio Perrone, vice-president of business strategy and marketing for Eataly North America, will be part of the executive panel discussion at Thought Leadership in Toronto next Tuesday. (Tickets are nearly sold out so register today!)

Perrone joins Darrell Jones of Save-On-Foods and Anthony Longo from Longo's to discuss new and innovative approaches that will shape the future of the industry.

Held at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto on Nov. 19, the event will start with a research presentation from Carman Allison, vice-president of consumer insights at Nielsen.

He will be followed by Sylvain Perrier, president and CEO at Mercatus Technologies, will offer insights on the evolving state of grocery e-commerce in North America.

Next, Robert Ruch, senior vice-president, chief information officer at Crossmark, who will explain how data can be leveraged to address out-of-stocks.

The panel discussion, moderated by Tony Chapman, will close the half-day event.

The conference will be followed by the Golden Pencil Awards, as well as the presentation of the Generation Next Award, launched by Canadian Grocer to recognize the up-and-coming innovative leaders in the grocery and consumer packaged goods industries.
