EXCLUSIVE: Skip launches retail media program with Rokt

AI-powered tech will allow advertisers to deliver tailored messages to Skip’s customers

Skip is partnering with e-commerce company Rokt to launch a retail media offering on its delivery app.

Rokt’s AI-powered technology will enable endemic and non-endemic advertisers to deliver messages to Skip’s customers in Canada.

Through the partnership, advertisers in the Rokt Ads network can offer tailored messages on the order confirmation and order tracking pages of Skip’s app.

Tim Crouch, VP of strategic partnerships at Rokt, tells Canadian Grocer: "Rokt's AI-driven technology creates relevancy in the online food delivery journey, greatly enhancing customer engagement and profit per transaction for grocery and CPG brands. By considering the profile of each consumer, Rokt ensures that only the most relevant offers are presented. This approach provides a better customer journey and provides non-endemic brands with access to new, highly-engaged audiences with high purchase intent, enabling these brands to forge meaningful connections with prospective consumers at the right moment."

Skip serves more than 50,000 restaurants, retailers and convenience stores across 480 cities and towns in Canada. The delivery company has added more than 25 new cities to its network since the start of the year.
