Farm Boy to open new Aurora store
Ontario-based Farm Boy is set to open its 46th location this month.
The retailer sets up shop at 10 Goulding Avenue (Unit 1A) at Wellington Street East in Aurora – its 16th fresh market in the Greater Toronto Area – on Jan. 19.
Spanning 28,200 square feet, the location will employ 125 people.
Features include a fresh stir fry station, as well as a salad and hot bar. Additionally, the store’s grab-and-go selection will complement its offering of produce, meat and Farm Boy private-label grocery items.
“We have received so much support from our GTA customers and are excited to open a new location in Aurora,” said Shawn Linton, Farm Boy president and general manager, in a statement. “Those visiting the new store can enjoy the same fresh market experience Ontarians have come to know with a wide variety of fresh and unique Farm Boy products, along with best-in-class customer service.”
