Food Basics on Bath Road in Kingston, Ont. has relocated to the Rio Can Centre.

The brand new space will be operated by the former store and pharmacy team members, along with 30 new staff.

As part of the grand opening, the Metro-owned discount banner donated $5,000 to the Partners in Mission Food Bank. The food bank is affiliated with Feed Ontario, a long-time partner of the grocer, notably through Metro’s One More Bite food recovery program.
