Food Producers of Canada (FPC) have announced the appointment of Isabelle Bergeron, Marko Dzeletovich and Stephen Eckert to its board of directors.

Bergeron is the director of procurement at Fleury Michon America. She has over 25 years of experience in food production management in the retail, distribution and industrial sectors.

Dzeletovich has led Coldbox Builders for over two decades. As its founder and CEO, Dzeletovich “transformed a small Burlington-based operation into a leader in plan-design-build delivery, serving farmers in third world countries to Fortune 500 organizations,” notes a press release.

Eckert is the third generation of Eckert Machines, a family-run business. He joined the company in 2004 as a technical sales representative and service technician. He became sales manager in 2010 and president in 2020.

"Food Producers of Canada remains committed to the continued growth and prosperity of Canadian food producers and their value chain partners. The recent appointment of Ms. Bergeron, Mr. Dzeletovich, and Mr. Eckert comes at an important time for our industry as we continue to diversify our export markets and bolster our capacity here at home," said Denise Allen, president & CEO, FPC.
