Following stints at Sobeys and Rexall, Beth Newlands Campbell has headed back to the U.S.
Newlands Campbell has been named president of Giant Eagle. According to her LinkedIn profile, she began with the American supermarket chain in July.
Giant Eagle has more than 400 locations across Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana and Maryland.
Newlands Campbell spent most of her career (27 years) with the American grocer Hannaford Brothers and its Belgian parent company Delhaize before joining Sobeys in 2016 as president of its Ontario, Atlantic division. In 2017 she became president of Rexall Drugstore.
