Online organic food delivery service Mama Earth has appointed Mary Graham as its chief executive officer, replacing founder Alex Billingsley who will remain with the company in an advisory role.
As CEO, Graham has been tasked with "building a team of leaders," leading Mama Earth "into the next growth chapter" and creating experiences that make it easier and "more convenient for customers to 'eat good' via online grocery delivery," according to a press release.
“We’ve spent the past six months searching for a leader that can help us take advantage of the opportunities in front of us and steward our significant growth ambitions in a way that is consistent with our mission and values,” said Billingsley. “Mary is not only the leader we’ve been looking for, but she also genuinely believes in our mission to help people nurture the planet while they nurture themselves and their families.”
Graham has more than 25 years of industry experience. She spent 13 years at Starbucks in various senior-level positions and has also held strategy and marketing roles for organizations in Canada and Latin America.
