During during his keynote at PLMA Live! Presents Private Label Week, Bill Simon, former president and CEO of Walmart U.S., stressed the importance of private-label brands and the role they can play in boosting the economy after COVID-19.
Simon acknowledged that private-label brands had "been on a tear" and suggested some areas for retailers and manufacturers to focus on as consumers get back on their feet.
