B.C.-based Fresh St. Market is opening its eighth store next week.

On Nov. 15, the family-owned grocer will hold the grand opening for its new location at 150 Esplanade West in North Vancouver.

The previously announced store will feature Fresh St. Market’s first-ever Burrito Bar, a hot-meal self-service bar and carving station, as well as a seating area for customers. Other offerings reflect the local community, including the Garden of Lo Lo (Lower Lonsdale), Shipyards Housewares and the Esplanade Deli.

Shoppers can expect to find local, fresh meat and cheese, sustainable seafood and freshly baked goods.

“We are proud to officially open Fresh St. Market in Lower Lonsdale and wish to sincerely thank our customers for their patience during renovations and we also offer gratitude for the positivity and encouragement we have been hearing from so many people in the local community,” said Palle Knudsen, senior director retail operations, Fresh St. Market. “We are really excited to introduce Fresh St. Market’s first-ever Burrito Bar, a hot meal self-service bar and carving station, and we also have a seating area for customers to comfortably enjoy their food and beverages.”

Fresh St. Market also continues its partnership with FoodMesh, which rescues and redistributes surplus foods to vulnerable people. The two companies first partnered in April 2020.
