The opening will bring more than 80 jobs and over 200 producer partnerships to the Kitsilano neighbourhood.

The B.C.-based and family owned market opened its first location in West Vancouver in 2013, and partners with local farmers and producers to fulfill its grocery categories.

The FoodMesh program will be active at the 4th Ave. Fresh St. Market location. The program diverts surplus edible food into the equivalent of nearly three million meals, benefitting charities and individuals across the province. The two companies first partnered in April 2020.
