Galleria Supermarket launches app

Toronto’s Galleria Supermarket launched a shopping app that offers an improved shopping experience for customers in-store.

The app, launched Dec. 31, offers ifnormation on Galleria’s two stores (events, specials) as well as promotional coupons that customers can only get via the iPhone app.

“Customers can show the coupon page from the app at Galleria’s in-store cultural centre to get a free product,” says Won Suk Ha, Galleria’s mainstream marketing manager. To date, more than 1,000 people have downloaded the app.

Along with specials, customers can scan QR codes for product ifnormation and view their accumulated points to Galleria’s loyalty program.
