Giant Tiger opens in Brampton, Ont.
Discount chain continues its aggressive, cross-country expansion plan

Giant Tiger opened the doors to its Brampton, Ont. location over the weekend.
The new 25, 300-sq.-ft. space features the chain’s usual fare of groceries, clothing and everyday household items at discount prices.
The new store in Brampton is part of Giant Tiger’s aggressive expansion strategy across the country. With more than 235 locations currently open across Canada, the Ottawa-based chain has plans to open 10 to 15 new stores every year for the next three to five years.

The grand opening celebration included a charitable barbecue, sampling and gift card giveaways.
