Golden Pencil recipients announced

The Food Industry Association’s chairman, Paul Higgins Jr. announced that Frank Coleman, president and CEO, Colemans Food Centre and Philip Donne, president, Campbell Company of Canada are this year’s Golden Pencil recipients.

The Golden Pencil Award is the grocery industry’s highest honour, and was first presented in 1957 by the Food Industry Association of Canada.

The award recognizes the efforts of both buyer and seller in developing and improving the Canadian food industry.

This year’s award ceremony will take place on November 28 at the Royal York Hotel.
