Goodfood taps new chief financial officer

Montreal-headquartered online grocery, home meal and meal-kit company Goodfood Market Corp. has promoted Roslane “Ross” Aouameur to chief financial officer, replacing Jonathan Roiter.

The change is effective Friday (March 31). 

"We are thrilled to promote Roslane Aouameur to the position of chief financial officer. Ross has been with Goodfood for three and half years and knows our business inside and out. He has played an instrumental role in both our rapid growth phase and the execution of our path to profitability and positive cash flows,” said Jonathan Ferrari, CEO of Goodfood, in a statement. “Ross has nearly 15 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting, capital markets and entrepreneurship. Over the years, as an investment banker in New York focused on mergers, acquisitions and capital structure management, as well as a startup founder and CFO he has built high-performing teams and executed complex roadmaps and transactions that have helped businesses grow and thrive.”

Ferrari also thanked Roiter for his “hard work and significant past contributions” to the company.

“I am very proud to have been part of the talented Goodfood team and of the work we have done together in recent months to chart a path towards profitability and positive growing cash flows,” Roiter said in a statement.
