Meal-kit service HelloFresh is adding 1,000 new technology roles across its offices in Canada, the U.S., Australia and Germany over the next 12 months.
HelloFresh’s technology team is responsible for everything from the digital product to developing new recipes to powering supply chains, according to a press release.
Founded in 2011—and launched in Canada in 2016—HelloFresh is a weekly service that delivers insulated meal boxes with pre-portioned ingredients and step-by-step recipes, to people’s homes.
“These new roles will help us strengthen our reputation as a digital-native food business with technology at its core,” said HelloFresh founder Dominik Richter, in the release. “It will help us enhance our product offering even further, create a more personalized experience for our customers, and expand into more markets. I look forward to welcoming the new recruits on board.”
The Berlin-based company is coming off a strong quarter, having reported € 1.56 billion revenue growth and more than 30 million meals ordered.
The roles will be based out of what the company called its “technology hubs” in Toronto, Boulder, New York, Sydney and Berlin.
