High Liner fish sticks and breaded nuggets recalled
Seafood company warns products may contain milk not listed on the label
High Liner Foods is recalling its High Liner Captain's Crew breaded fish strips and High Liner Captain's Crew breaded fish nuggets because they may contain milk, which is not identified on the label.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products. Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.
The federal agency said consumers with milk allergies should not consume the recalled products "as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction."
There has been one reported reaction associated with the consumption of these products.
