IGA is returning to Edmonton’s Valleyview community this month.

On Aug. 20, the Empire Company banner will reopen a location that closed two years ago. The store previously served residents for more than 60 years.

Customers will find a full-service grocery store offering fresh produce, a full-service bakery and deli, ready-to-enjoy meal options and a selection of everyday essentials.

IGA’s new store will also feature an assortment of local products.

The grand opening will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony with invited guests and a cheque presentation to the Jewish Federation of Edmonton.

Stuart Trenchard will serve as store manager.
