Former LinkedIn executive Christina Hall is stepping into the new role

Instacart has hired Christina Hall as chief human resources officer for North America--a newly created position within the San Francisco-based company.

Hall will oversee Instacart's human resources, recruiting, and diversity, equity and inclusion functions across North America.

Hall brings more than 20 years human resources experience to her role at Instacart. She has held positions with Facebook, Intuit and most recently served as chief people officer at LinkedIn.

"As our first CHRO, Christina brings with her decades of experience at top tech companies," said Apoorva Mehta, founder and CEO, Instacart, in a press release. "She has a people-first leadership mentality that will help us continue to build a world-class organization and performance-driven culture that supports all of our teams across North America."
