Kraft Peanut Butter is harnessing AI technology to help Canadians replenish the staple spread.

Via a mobile device, customers can scan the scraping marks at the bottom of nearly empty jars of peanut butter to get a free jar of Kraft Peanut Butter delivered that day through Skip Express Lane.

Canadians can visit KraftQjaRCodes.ca and open the camera on their mobile device to scan the pattern at the bottom of any peanut butter jar. The AI technology will allow a limited number of Canadians to order a new, full jar for free through Skip Express Lane — a delivery service from SkipTheDishes.

"As a brand that strives to spread comfort that nourishes the souls of Canadians, part of our mission is to connect with peanut butter enthusiasts in culturally relevant ways – such as bridging the gap between food and technology," said Stephanie Goyette, head of marketing and strategy at Kraft Heinz, in a statement. "Our latest campaign is a prime example of a convenient, consumer-first innovation disrupting the way Canadians replenish their spreads."
