Lactalis Canada taps former General Mills exec for VP role

Alexander Benedet brings two decades of experience in consumer packaged goods to the post

Lactalis Canada has appointed Alexander Benedet to the position of vice president, customer strategy and development.

Benedet will be responsible for building and leading the revenue growth management, e-commerce and shopper marketing, sales operations and business development teams under the newly formed centre of excellence for the company’s commercial function.

The executive boasts over 20 years of experience in progressive leadership roles within consumer packaged goods. 

He was most recently vice president of sales strategy, capabilities and planning, at General Mills. Prior to that, he was vice president of marketing and has held multiple leadership roles in finance with the company.
