Lagoon Seafood is attending and exhibiting for the first time at the 2022 edition of Grocery Innovations Canada.

The company marks its 30th anniversary at the grocery trade event, taking place Oct. 25 and 26 in Toronto.

Executives including Robert Mignacco, vice president; Stéphane Paré, VP of sales; Hassan Al Attrache, sales director; and Tony Vartivarian, marketing manager, will attend.

“We’re looking forward to showcasing our company and our brands to a large number of retailers and partners from coast to coast to coast,” Michael Cheaib, business resource manager at Lagoon Seafood, said in a statement. “With our recent investments in the Ontario market, we are looking forward to making connections with many leaders in grocery retail. The show is also an excellent opportunity to showcase our exciting new ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat value-added products and reconnect with our current partners and to present our newest products.”

Lagoon Seafood will be located at booth #407, where it will sample its Blue Tide salmon and tuna tartare among other signature fish and seafood products.

Additionally, the company will present its new technologies, including the modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) and vacuum packaging (Vac-Pack) and Skin pack it uses for Blue Tide.

“As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we’re eager to present how far our technology and product innovation has come,” Cheaib said.
