What happens when a major dairy producer teams up with a big chocolate brand? You get a new chocolate milk, of course.
Laura Secord Chocolate Milk by Nutrinor mixes milk from the Quebec agro-food co-op with Laura Secord chocolate.
“This is the first time we’ve created a co-branded product and it was quite impressive to team up with people who share our vision and concerns,” Yves Girard, general manager at Nutrinor, said in a statement.
Two varieties are available: Chocolate Milk and Dark Chocolate Milk.
Officials with Nutrinor said the products are designed to be decadent snacks. They added that their chocolate milks contain less sugar than “many” other types of chocolate milks on the market, but did not specify how much less.
The milks are sold in two bottle sizes–450ml (shown in photo) and 200ml–and are sold in Quebec. A suggested retail price was not released.
