Loblaw introduces "Everday Living"

4/12/2011

Everyday Living is the new concept launched for Loblaw’s general merchandise areas consisting of home, leisure and entertainment departments.

In mid-2010, Joseph Mimran of Joseph Mimran & Associates started overseeing the non-food and general merchandise of Loblaw, which resulted in a stylish new look and feel with new brands to suit the marketplace.

Stores with the Everyday Living concept have an edited product offering, new signage and lowered sightlines for a modern shopping experience.

Departments are clearly divided into categories such as beauty, kitchen, seasonal and toys so shoppers can easily find what they are looking for.

“It has been an exciting project to work with Loblaw to bring new energy into the non-food side of the store," said Mimran, creative director apparel, home and entertainment for Loblaw.

By the end of 2010, 21 stores (including the Real Canadian Superstore location at Dufferin & Steeles in Toronto and the Real Canadian Superstore in Westbank, B.C.) have been renovated with the new everyday Living concept.

More stores across Canada are scheduled to be renovated in 2011.

The Everyday Living section of the stores will feature the following Loblaw brands:
President's Choice home collection, Everyday Essentials, Tera Gear, Jogi, J±, PhotoStudio and PhotoLab.ca and Joe Fresh.
