Loblaw preps new City Market in Vancouver

Loblaw is set to open a new two-floor City Market in Vancouver.

The 22,000 square foot grocery store, to be located at 1477 W Broadway, is expected to open in early 2026.

It will join additional Loblaws City Market stores in the city, with locations on Arbutus Street in Vancouver, Park Royal N in West Vancouver and Lonsdale Avenue in North Vancouver. 

The news comes as another Loblaws City Market is set to become the anchor tenant at The Post, a major new office and retail heritage development taking shape at the site of the historic former Canada Post building.
