Longo’s readies 42nd store

Longo’s is set to open its 42nd store next week.

On April 3, the Ontario grocer will welcome customers at 6530 Major MacKenzie Drive W in Kleinburg.

The location will be Longo’s seventh store in its home base of Vaughan.

Spanning 38,000 square-feet, the store will offer fresh produce, artisanal cheeses, locally sourced meats, seafood and a Market-style bakery.

It will feature a Deli & Meat Counter, oven-baked pizza, gourmet sandwiches, a hot buffet, salad bar, ready-to-go meals and made-to-order sushi.

Additional amenities include an in-store Starbucks, local beer and wine selections and The Loft Cooking School.

Matthew Maiss will serve as store manager. 

Longo's opened its 41st store late last month. Also located in Vaughan, the full-shop supermarket spans 25,000 square-feet.
