Metro recalls panini products over Listeria concerns
Consumers are asked to return or throw out Fresh 2 Go brand Roast Beef Paninis purchased in Ontario
Metro Ontario is recalling Fresh 2 Go brand Roast Beef Paninis over possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
The products were sold from Metro locations in Ontario up to and including April 10. The recall covers two-and-four packs with UPC 0219274 and 0219149, respectively.
This recall was triggered by a Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) inspection. The CFIA continues to investigate, which may lead to the recall of other products.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
