Mondelez Canada and The Salvation Army launch holiday campaign
Who: Mondelez Canada
What: The snack food and confectionary company has partnered with The Salvation Army on a new holiday campaign, “Share the Joy, Donate a Toy.”
From Nov. 2 to Dec. 20, a portion of the proceeds from every participating product purchased, including Oreo, Ritz, Cadbury, Toblerone and more, will help The Salvation Army purchase up to $150,000 in toys for children in need.
Those toys will be donated to families in more than 400 communities across Canada.
"At Mondelez Canada, we believe everyone deserves moments of joy, especially during the holiday season. Through our ‘Share the Joy, Donate a Toy’ partnership with The Salvation Army, we're bringing this belief to life by making it easy for Canadians to help make a difference in the lives of children in need by enjoying their favourite snacks. Together, we're demonstrating how small, everyday actions can have a meaningful impact on children and families across Canada,” Pierina De Carolis, head of communications and community impact, Mondelez Canada, said in a press release.
