Night to Nurture Gala brings industry together for good cause
In just over two weeks, thousands of grocery industry professionals will come together for The Grocery Foundation’s Night to Nurture Gala at Toronto’s Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
The annual event offers the grocery and food industry the opportunity to make a significant difference for children in Ontario by helping to feed hungry kids and to support the work of Kids Help Phone.
The Grocery Foundation exists to feed hungry children in Ontario. On behalf of the grocery industry and in partnership with other non-profit organizations, it has donated in excess of $85-million benefitting numerous initiatives dedicated to improving the lives of children. Funds raised through the Gala benefit organizations that nurture the whole child such as Kids Help Phone and breakfast programs in Ontario schools.
The Gala evening features a cocktail reception where attendees can browse a silent auction, enjoy interactive entertainment and purchase a raffle ticket to win a new car.
Another highlight includes the evening’s entertainment, which in the past has included acts such as Bryan Adams, Michael Bublé, Nelly Furtado, Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson and most recently OneRepublic.
In celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary, this year’s festivities include a concert featuring Blue Rodeo and Hedley.
The Grocery Foundation’s Night to Nurture Gala is Canada’s largest fundraising dinner in North America, annually raising close to $2-million to help kids in need.
This year’s Night to Nurture Gala takes place on February 4th at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Learn more about the event and purchase tickets here.
