Night to Nurture will once again be a virtual event.
In light of the recent COVID surge, The Grocery Foundation has made the decision to cancel in-person portions of the event and move the entire gala online.
"We know this is disappointing and that everyone was looking forward to a live, in-person event – as were we! It still promises to be a great night with the ability to host a virtual Table and help nurture Canadian children at a time when they desperately need it," said The Grocery Foundation's executive director Shaun McKenna.
The annual event raises crucial dollars to fund breakfast programs in Canadian schools as well as to support the work of Kids Help Phone. Each year the gala raises close to $2 million.
