Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers appoints a new GM
Joe Sbrocchi starts with the not for profit later this month
Joe Sbrocchi has been tapped to lead the Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers (OGVG). He assumes the general manager role Sept.18.
Previously, Sbrocchi has held management roles with national retailers such as Sobeys and Walmart. He was most recently VP business development and strategy for Mastronardi Produce.
“We are pleased to have a quality leader join the OGVG at a point where his experience, skills and leadership can significantly support our sector,” said OGVG Chair George Gilvesy in a press release announcing Sbrocchi's hire.
OGVG is a not-for-profit organization responsible for licensing all growers, packers and marketers of Ontario greenhouse tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers.
