Pacific Foods bisques

Pacific Foods, a 25-year-old soup and beverage company out of Oregon has just launched a line of organic bisques to Canada. The bisques come in three flavours: Organic Hearty Tomato; Organic Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato; and Organic Cashew Carrot Ginger. A spokesperson for Pacific Foods said all are made with fresh organic ingredients. For instance, the Hearty Tomato Bisque combines vine-ripened tomatoes and organic cream from Oregon dairies. The bisques are packaged in BPA-free cartons and are vegetarian, gluten-free and USDA certified organic. The line has been on sale for about a year in the United States and was inspired by Pacific Foods’ most popular creamy soup flavours. Suggested retail price for the 17.6-oz bisque cartons is $3.19 to $3.69 Pacific Foods has also introduced Organic Mushroom Broth to Canada. A 32-ounce carton retails for between $3.49 and $4.19. No marketing to Canadian consumers is currently planned for the new products.
