Pattison Food Group recognizes its outstanding leaders

Twenty “exceptional” team members honoured at annual event
Pattison Food Group's 2025 Leadership Excellence Award winners

At its annual Leadership Excellence Awards Gala in Vancouver this week, Pattison Food Group (PFG) handed out awards to 20 of its best leaders. 

The company says the awards celebrate individuals who demonstrate remarkable leadership, innovation and steadfast commitment to customers, team members and the organization.

“Our 2025 award recipients continue to show what’s possible when passion and purpose come together,” said PFG president Jamie Nelson in a release. “Their dedication, care for their teams and for our customers continue to make a meaningful impact across the Pattison Food Group and in the communities we serve.”

Here are the 2025 winners:

Larger Format Store Leader of the Year

Brad Calyniuk, store manager, Save-On-Foods East Maple Ridge (British Columbia)

Small Format Store Leader of the Year 

Jason McFall, store manager, Save-On-Foods Tisdale (Saskatchewan)

Business Leader of the Year

Brenna Leonard, general manager, retail services and e-commerce operations

Entrepreneur of the Year (not presented every year, this award is reserved for leaders who deliver an new idea that creates measurable business value)

Junaid Islam, director of finance

Customer Service Excellence Award

Save-On-Foods Steveston (Richmond, B.C.) team led by store manager Elliott Allard

Alicia Robinson, regional manager of produce for Saskatchewan and Manitoba
