PepsiCo Canada CEO Cara Keating to receive Grand Prix Lifetime Achievement Award
PepsiCo Canada CEO Cara Keating is the recipient of the 2026 Canadian Grand Prix Lifetime Achievement Award.
Presented by the Retail Council of Canada and Food, Health & Consumer Products of Canada (FHCP), the award recognizes those who have demonstrated “outstanding service and dedication to the Canadian retail and grocery industries.”
As chief executive of PepsiCo Canada, Keating (a 2017 Star Women in Grocery Award winner) leads more than 12,000 associates across 13 manufacturing facilities and hundreds of distribution locations. She also oversees a portfolio of brands that includes Lay’s, Doritos, Pepsi-Cola, Gatorade, Quaker and Bubly.
Keating’s career at the company spans 22 years. Since joining in 2004, she has held positions across field operations, national sales, strategy and planning and general management.
Her previous titles include president of PepsiCo Foods Canada and chief customer office of PepsiCo Foods North America.
Keating’s contributions as the executive sponsor of PepsiCo’s Women’s Inclusion Network earned her the PepsiCo Global Harvey C. Russell Award.
She was also awarded with the Life Member designation from the Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers in 2022.
Keating currently serves on the board of directors for FHCP.
"In an industry defined by change, Cara has been a constant force for progress,” said Michael Graydon, CEO of FHCP, in a statement. “She has grown one of Canada's most iconic CPG portfolios with discipline and vision, while never losing sight of the people and communities behind it."
Kim Furlong, president and CEO of RCC, said Keating’s work to strengthen retailer-supplier relationships has made the industry better.
“Her commitment to collaboration and to developing the next generation of leaders makes her an entirely deserving recipient of this award."
