PepsiCo Europe exec boards McCain Foods
Former PepsiCo Europe executive Victoriano Perez Mies has joined McCain Foods as chief manufacturing and operations officer.
He takes over the role from Peter Dawe, who is elevated to president of global snacking.
Mies will be based out of McCain’s head office in Toronto.
Since last fall, Dawe has overseen manufacturing and operations for McCain as chief operations and growth officer in addition to spearheading growth for the company’s snacking business.
“Having spent time with Victor over the past several months, I'm confident his deep operational expertise and people-first leadership style will be a tremendous asset to McCain. I look forward to partnering closely with him as we continue to support our customers, grow our business, and build for the future,” Dawe shared in a LinkedIn post.
Mies spent 17 years at PepsiCo, most recently as senior vice-president, supply chain, Europe, based in Switzerland.
“I want to sincerely thank everyone I had the privilege of working with over these years,” he said on LinkedIn. “You have shaped my career and my life in more ways than you may realize. As one chapter closes, another begins. I’m truly excited about what comes next and grateful for everything that has brought me here.”
