PepsiCo launches direct-to-consumer sites

Shoppers can now order food and beverage brands from one of two websites for home delivery

As consumers continue to gravitate toward online shopping during the COVID-19 pandemic, PepsiCo has launched two e-commerce sites to meet increased demand for its food and beverage brands.

On Monday, PepsiCo debuted and, where shoppers in the U.S. can order from an assortment of the company's brands including Cheetos, Gatorade, Quaker oatmeal, Doritos and Tropicana.

"In these uncertain times, as more and more consumers are using eCommerce channels to purchase food and beverage products, and offer shoppers another alternative for easy and fast access to products they love," said Gibu Thomas, senior vice-president and head of e-commerce, in a press release.

For instance, the "Rise & Shine" contains breakfast items such as pancake mix, cereal, oatmeal and juice. PepsiCo has seen a boost in sales since the start of the pandemic, with consumers now eating breakfast and snacks at home. PepsiCo said organic sales–which don’t include acquisitions–grew 7.9% in its first quarter and e-commerce sales jumped 45%.
