The industry gathered in support of feeding children and youth across Canada
Downtown Toronto sparkled Saturday night as more than 3,000 grocery industry leaders gathered for The Grocery Foundation's Night to Nurture gala.
The annual event helps raise funds for school breakfast programs, and weekend and summer nutrition programs serving children and youth across Canada.
The evening opened with a cocktail reception, where guests could browse a silent auction and purchase raffle tickets for the chance to win a car.
The event was hosted by Canadian television personality and author Rick Mercer and featured performances by The Beaches and the Arkells.
