The industry convened again this year at the Grocery Innovations Canada (GIC) exhibition and conference.
Held at the Toronto Congress Centre on Oct. 24 and 25, the event featured keynotes, workshops, award presentations and a packed trade show floor with a number of exhibits, new products and specialty pavilions.
Panelists and speakers discussed a range of topics, such as the grocery code of conduct, economic trends, plastics regulations, cybersecurity and more.
As usual, the New Product Showcase featured new innovations in grocery, including food products, non-food products, innovative packaging and sustainable packaging.
