PHOTO GALLERY: Metro opens 105th Super C

Metro has opened the doors to its 105th Super C store.

Located at 85 Rue Wellington in Coaticook, Que., the 16,000 square foot store represents a $5.5 million investment. 

The discount banner’s newest location features spacious aisles, click-and-collect and self-serve checkouts.

Super C Coaticook also offers a variety of fresh meats, large-format, organic and natural products, a selection of craft beers and microbrews, as well as Première Moisson products.

As part of the opening, the store has presented a $5,000 cheque to Moisson Estrie, a long-time partner of Metro through its food recovery program One More Bite.

"The addition of this new store is part of a deployment plan that will allow us to consolidate our position as the best discounters in Quebec. We are proud to say that we have the best quality-price ratio," said Loïc Cloutier, senior vice president of Super C, in a press release. "Our teams work hard every day to offer consumers quality products at very competitive prices and a shopping experience that is both simple and efficient.
