PHOTOS: Costco opens new warehouse in Quebec

Costco Wholesale Canada has opened its first warehouse in the Quebec city of Rimouski.

Located at the intersection of Boulevard Arthur-Buies Est and Montée Industrielle et Commerciale, the 150,000-sq.-ft. store features 18 gas pumps, more than 700 parking spots, a range of beer, wine, champagne and ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages and more.

It also includes a variety of specialty departments, including on-site bakery, fresh meat, expansive produce area, rotisserie chicken section, optical centre, five tire centre bays and a large food court,

Costco said its Rimouski warehouse has created more than 200 permanent and seasonal jobs.

The store, located at 425 Boulevard Arthur-Buies Est, opened Aug. 5.
